Feels more like the alu power then the octo twist in my opinion and also is a lot stiffer. Very nice string.
Don't get me wrong, both a exceptionally soft, but if you want something with slightly more crispness (think black vs white Quadro Twist) and a higher spin profile, give this string a ride if you enjoy Triangle Twisted. Or put both in your setup and put Triangle Twisted in your crosses to add more feel!
This string is great. Fits very will with my game strong and has awesome spin and control. Not only that but very comfortable to swing.
I really enjoy these strings. On a scale of 1-10, these strings sit at a 11. I've been testing out multiple ytex strings throughout the year and these strings came up out of the blue for me providing much more spin and power per shot. I think the one thing that really caught my attention was the amount of feel you get when hitting low balls around your ankle, it really supports topspin players. Unfortunately learning about the discontinuance of these strings leaves quite a bitter sweet ending for me. Highly recommended!
i like this string
I have been impressed with pretty much every string I have tried from Ytex. This string felt softer and I thought gave me a little more spin.

Players love the Spin, Power and tension control these strings provide! A lot of my to players are now using these strings!
A strong and tight grip band that doesn’t move after hours of play. They look great over a white overgrip.
and Square X in crosses in both Babolat aeropro as well as Babolat Pure strike racquets!
My college players love these strings. They are arm friendly for my players that have arm problems and they love the feel and spin it gives them.
I used to string my rackets hybrid style until I came in contact with the Ytex Quadra Twist strings. I no longer need a hybrid pattern due to these strings, giving me the power control, spin and elbow safety that I require. I play with a Head Radical and string the mains at 42 and the crosses at 40.
Here's my assessment. I keep forgetting how arm friendly the set is. I tried it yesterday while doing a hitting session. Strung at 48 lbs on a prince phantom 100 18X20. It didn't have the stiff feel as compared to a Dunlop black widow or the Solinco confidential. The control plus bite was there.
I'm 61 and my hard hitting days are pretty much over. I now use my opponents pace and the set is actually perfect for my type of game. This is my opinion of the set . I'm sure everyone might think differently.
