I gifted 2 sets of YTEX Quadro Twist black to a 4.5 student who needed new strings in her Head Radical MP racquets. Strung at 45 pounds, she felt the racquets came alive with great spin and comfort. She couldn't be happier! She'll be another long term customer.
My college players love these strings. They are arm friendly for my players that have arm problems and they love the feel and spin it gives them.
I used to string my rackets hybrid style until I came in contact with the Ytex Quadra Twist strings. I no longer need a hybrid pattern due to these strings, giving me the power control, spin and elbow safety that I require. I play with a Head Radical and string the mains at 42 and the crosses at 40.
I made the change to give my injured wrist a break from stiff polyester strings, and I got a little more power and spin too. So far so good. I installed this string on the mains and X One on the crosses. I think it’s a great combination.
