I used to string my rackets hybrid style until I came in contact with the Ytex Quadra Twist strings. I no longer need a hybrid pattern due to these strings, giving me the power control, spin and elbow safety that I require. I play with a Head Radical and string the mains at 42 and the crosses at 40.

Switched from Luxilon ALU Rough
I made the change to give my injured wrist a break from stiff polyester strings, and I got a little more power and spin too. So far so good. I installed this string on the mains and X One on the crosses. I think it’s a great combination.

Best mix of performance and arm friendly string
Being in the mid forties and still being active in tournaments in addition to a full tennis teaching schedule I needed a string that I can compete with but also wouldn’t be too hard on my arm. I tried a few different strings o er the past years but have always come back to the Quadro. It has helped me and my wife Brandi win a few National Titles and a couple of mixed World Championships.

This is part of the “go-to” hybrid string most of our tennis team uses!
Kodiak High school uses a hybrid of Hexagon-X Pearl Red 16L and ProTour 17L strung at between 48 and 53 depending on the racket…. We Love it.

Best strings on the market
I’ve won 4 gold balls this year and 1 team national championship using this amazing string. It is soft on the arm and offers immense spin action to my serve and groundstrokes. The feel is perfect
