VIDEO REVIEW - FROM 5KTENNIS

The ProTour Blue is a soft co-poly with a great combination of spin; control and power. Ideal string for those players playing with a heavy racquet.

If you are looking for a soft co-poly which holds tension very well, then the ProTour series is the string for you! This string offers you a SOFT yet powerful feel, while maintaining control and a nice "Pop" sensation when it hits the ball.

Because of the round shape its ideal to use as a hybrid set up or full bed.

Try this amazing new technology!

Talk about a great first impression!

After being super impressed with Hexagon - X Pearl Red, I couldn’t wait to try Protour Blue 1.20mm in my T-Fight 305 XTC racquet. Protour Blue had a crisp feel WITHOUT ANY JARRING SENSATIONS! My racquet has a 18 / 19 string pattern and Protour Blue matched the control my stringbed offers. The only time I over hit was when I was late. I was please with the feel, spin and length of my shots. The feel of the ball coming off the racquet was so pleasant… where was this string earlier in my life?? My YouTube channel “THE TENNIS JONES” will be doing a review in the near future. Great job YTEX 😀🎾

Strung at 51 in Graphene Prestige, great spin, serve pop, and control. Soft on the arm.

Great intro into poly strings!

My girls on the high school team love the varying colors of the Protour series! Since we are Green and Gold, we either go with Sintex Mint and Protour Yellow or for the more advanced players we go Octo Twist and Protour Yellow. It's a great complimentary for a hybrid, but it's also a fantastic introduction into poly strings as a whole for a full bed.

Protour Orange

Wanted to see how the logo would pop on the orange strings. What do you think ? Wilson Blade at 48#. 16 x 18 pattern. Super good feel and plenty of pop to go along with it. Highly recommend this string from the awesome YTEX catalogue .

New horizon

Nice soft feel co-poly with good power and decent spin, durability not that important to me, very satisfied overall.

Perfect crosses in a hybrid set up.

I have been using the Pro Tour Black in a hybrid set up for my High School athletes. The team loves the the spin and sense of feel they get from PT Black. We have combined the PT Black with Octo -Twist for a wicked spin combination that allows high margin of error and excellent power when needed. Once I had the kids back the #s down 2-5, the entire team's serves have a noticeable increase in velocity and spin. My personal rackets are strung at 48# on the crosses, 50 on the mains. I'll transition down another 2 pounds each upon restringing.

Soft and responsive

Using ProTour Silver in the mains of a hybrid string job. I like the softness and responsiveness of this string. It's not a typical co-poly that can be very board-like. These strings have good flex and power and provide the ability to impart good spin. I would give 5 stars but really have not played with them long enough at this point. Overall, YTEX strings are great quality and a great buy as well as a great alternative to other strings that players may be more familiar. As a stringer, I am encouraging my clients to switch over!
