I demo'd the Square X sharp and was very impressed. I used it in the mains with a round poly cross, and immediately knew that I had found my new setup. The spin was great but what really sold me on it was how sweet the feel is. I'm a local stringer and will be recommending it to my players that are using other square shaped strings.
The lines on the tennis balls in the picture are from the extreme bite from Square X Sharp in the mains of my RF97. I'm a hard hitting 4.5 and use Ytex Square X Sharp in the mains and either MSV Swift or Isospeed Cream in the crosses. It's a great combo. The Square X Sharp gives great spin, feel, power, and control. The round slick coated cross strings add durability and help with tension maintenance, while providing great snapback to help with the spin. Love Ytex and am glad to have found Square X Sharp!
Playing at a pretty good level of tennis the strings do everything I look for. Good pop, control and spin on all shots. Especially love what it does on my kick serve!
