Highly-rated synthetic gut tennis string praised for exceptional comfort and feel. Customers said it's "a breeze to string" and offers "incredible feel" with excellent control and spin. Popular for hybrid setups and arm-friendly play. Some noted it breaks quickly. Shoppers requested more color options and additional gauges, particularly 17ga for junior rackets.
- One the best syn gut on the market. A breeze to string in any setup.
- Such a soft and elastic string, it takes away all of the shock.
- Same control and spin as I did with polyester, my mind was blown.

I strung this string up as crosses on a Wilson Pro Staff v13 with Natural Gut in the mains. I haven’t had to play test them yet as I just received them and got them strung. As soon as I got the strings out of the package I could already feel that these strings were going to be soft! Can’t wait to get on the court and try them out!
My students like it. Love the color. Seems to last a bit longer for some of students than other syn guts.
One the best syn guy on the market. A breeze to string in any setup. Glided beautifully with square x sharp.
Really good Syn gut string. Wish you would sell in a 17ga. For the kids rackets. Also wish you would sell in different colors.
I Love how easy it was to string!
need different gauges and colors. specifically white. yet this is a great great great string!
Hard to beat the price and quality of these strings! Would definitely recommend.
The sintex mint strings are by far my new favorite string from Ytex. I have been battling with a very bad tennis elbow on the last few months that has prevented me from practicing my serves, playing intense matches, and overall my game has suffered because of the lack of strength and pain on my forearm and elbow. No matter what I tried, I could not get rid of the pain, until I tried the sintex mint strings, and it quickly started going away. It is such a soft and elastic string, it takes away all of the shock of a hard, regular polyester string. It is simply amazing. It is incredible what the guys at Ytex have done and I would recommend this string to ANYONE looking to stay away from injuries and have a string on their racquets that performs. Could not recommend it more!!
Hello Ivor,
2 sets for customer! He liked them alot!
Use these strings for the crosses, i bought whole reel cause I love this string so much. Having Quadro twist and sintex is the best set up for any hybrid users.
Great with hybrid set up. Durable and feel and control is impressive.
Just recently play tested the SINTEX paired with PRO TOUR BLUE. This multifilament string is better than any other multifilament I have used. Balances out the spin of the poly, giving it even more feel, without feeling to soft or mushy.
Love these as a cross string in a blend
Great string. Love the color and how it pops in Wilson Blade racquets. Nice feel with plenty of pop on serves and volley's. Highly recommend this string to anyone looking to add a bit more feel and consistency to their game. 5 Stars for sure !
Awesome string at Amazing value
Better than Prince Syn Gut...more affordable too!
Have this on mains and protour blue on crosses. @ 57/54 lba tension. Comfort is still there. Solid spin! Still testong durablity, but so far so good after 4 hours lf play no fraying.
I waited a long time for these to be back in stock. I tried lots of other synthetic gut strings. I was very impressed with the amount of control I had in my Blade 104 v7. The Sintex Mint was strung at 55lbs, full bed. The strings didn't move around like many others. When you consider the cost, they are a bargain. It was worth the wait to find a great string.
Haven't played it yet, but the timing of its arrival was A-1!
I love the feel of this string but it's breaking to fast. Broke 2 in 2 sets.
Tension used: 50LB and 48Lb
Used Hybrid with Square X
Put these in a Prince Graphite 107 strung at #57. Really good old school feel. Good comfort and playability.
I string the Sintex Mint for my customer, it’s verry easy for stringing. After 3 years break, he starts again with tennis. He want a string with touch now he have Touch Comfort and power
I liked the price of this string. Unfortunately I haven't been able to string up my racket yet. I plan on doing it soon, looking forward to using this string.
Favorite synthetic gut for the price
Plays as well as an expensive soft multifilament!
I even used it in the cross strings of kevlar mains.
Wow! I haven’t hit with synthetic gut in over 20 years. I new the strings would be comfortable, but to have the same control and spin as I did with polyester, my mind was blown. I’m 100% behind this string and my high school teams will be using it as well. It will be so much better for my old shoulder as well! Thanks YTEX!!!
I used this in the crosses and it performed as good as any other synthetic, it lasted just as long as all the others. At the price it is the best deal. Wish it came in more color options. Overall it is a great string.
